Our Story
The story behind our journey
Petiquette has been a labor of love for Buttons and his mom, Mita. The two of them felt they
had much to share with other pet parents and pet lovers, and so Petiquette was born.
With a firm belief in the appropriate etiquette for pets, neither Buttons (although he is a dog!)
nor his mom felt it would be fair to exclude other species of pets, and so, decided to also cover
pets like cats, birds, fish, rabbits, hamsters, and so on. And hope to provide information that
may help other pet parents and their pets.
Buttons has a lot to say about his life as a rescue and hopes other pet parents and pet lovers
will also share their stories, photographs and videos on the Petiquette community.
Most importantly, Buttons insists on championing the cause of homeless animals and advocates
the importance of treating them with respect and dignity. Defy him at your own peril!
